Broccoli-ice-cream

I was fortunate as a girl to have a neighbor who taught me how to sew. I have been sewing for around 36 years. I made some high fashion items in the 80's such as plaid gaucho pants (Awkward!) and made my lime green with cream lace prom dress in high school (perhaps also a little awkward.) Right now all my creating is for fun and mostly at the bidding of my daughter though I am working towards doing it professionally as well. :-) I started by making Halloween costumes. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I put a lot of time and attention into them to make them as authentic as possible. Now that she is into cosplay I have the perfect outlet. 2014 brought Elsa from Frozen (along with half the world, lol) but mine was all hand pieced on the corset and took months to make! Now she is into My Little Pony and Homestuck so I have made two Homestuck capes (Eridan and Terezi), Eridan's pants, and three My Little Pony Gala dresses. Looking forward to Dreamer Terezi next. Also starting with plushies.
